This is one of the most balanced fermentation-processed coffees we've ever worked with. From the first grind to the final cup, it’s full of and expressive sweetness. Expect tropical fruit, red berries, and a honeyed finish. Bold and bright, yet surprisingly clean.
This lot comes from Villa Esperanza Paraíso, a farm run by award-winning producer Diego Samuel and his family in El Tambo, Cauca. Over the past 14 years, Diego has turned his focus entirely toward high-end coffee production, developing advanced fermentation protocols and building a lab on-site for cupping and roasting experiments.
The family cultivates Castillo, Caturra, Pink Bourbon, Geisha, and more across 27 hectares of land. While Castillo and Caturra are often overlooked as "lesser" varieties, Diego’s work shows just how much potential they can hold in the right hands. This lot is proof.
